Equipment
1 large glass bowl (microwave safe)
1 8x8 pan
Ingredients
1jar (18 oz)creamy peanut butter
1jar (16 oz)regular white frosting(avoid cream cheese flavored or whipped)
Instructions
Empty both the jar of peanut butter and the white icing into a glass bowl. Use a spatula to scrape the contents out if necessary.
Mix the peanut butter and the white icing together until it is generally combined. This helps it heat evenly in the microwave. (You will stir the mixture again after it is heated.)
Microwave for 1 minute. Stir the mixture together again. The mixture should now be heated enough to be pourable. If the mixture is still difficult to stir, microwave in 20 second increments. Do not overcook.
Pour the mixture into an 8x8 pan lined with parchment paper. Cover and refrigerate for at least two hours, or until the fudge stiffens enough to be cut into squares.
Notes
Do not overcook the frosting and peanut butter mixture or it may not set up correctly. The mixture should be heated just enough to be pourable.
Make sure to use traditional frosting. Do not use "whipped" frosting since the texture is different and the fudge may not set up properly.
