Preheat the oven to 350 °F. Lightly coat a 12-cup muffin pan with cooking spray or line each cup with muffin liners.
In a medium sized bowl, mix together the Kodiak cake mix, bananas, and eggs. Combine until the batter becomes pourable and there are no large banana pieces.
Pour the batter into each muffin cup. Fill each muffin cup until ¾ of the way full. There should be enough batter to fill about 12 muffin cups. Add a few chocolate chips on top before baking, if desired.
Bake the muffins for 15 minutes. Let the muffins cool slightly before serving.
