Molasses Milk (Dairy-Free, AIP, Paleo)

This easy warm molasses milk recipe is dairy-free, Paleo, nut-free, and AIP (Autoimmune Protocol) compliant. The blackstrap molasses adds essential nutrients to create a healthy drink that can be served hot or cold.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut milk (from the carton)
  • 1 tablespoon blackstrap molasses

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm the coconut milk and molasses, whisking until the mixture is gently steaming.
  • Pour it into a mug if serving warm or pour over ice if serving cold.

Notes

  • Check to make sure the coconut milk is Paleo and AIP-compliant with no added sugar. 
  • Use blackstrap molasses, not light or dark molasses to be Paleo and AIP-compliant. You may have to purchase it from a health food store or online.
