Aldi Taco Sauce

March 31, 2023 by Lauren Leave a Comment

Does Aldi have taco sauce?

Aldi sells street taco sauce that mimics brands like Herdez or Ortega. You can find these taqueria inspired taco sauces under the brand name Casa Mamita.

Currently, there is very little information about these street taco sauces from Aldi available. In fact, the product isn't even listed on the Aldi website. These were spotted in Aldi stores as of March 2023, but not every Aldi shopper has been able to find these in stores. Availability could be based on the Aldi location.

aldi taco sauce

Aldi taco sauce is great to pair with Mexican inspired food like Salsa Verde Chicken Enchiladas.

Aldi’s street taco sauce comes in a plastic 10.5 ounce bottle. Each type of sauce has its own unique label color. The label says Casa Mamita Street Taco Sauce and includes the flavor - either Verde (green) or Roja (red).

What are the flavors of Aldi’s street taco sauce?

There are two flavors of Aldi’s taqueria sauces:

  • Verde (Mild): A tangy burst of tomatillos, earthy green jalapeños chilis, onions, and our signature spices | Smooth green tomato & tomatillo flavors for every taco
  • Roja (Medium): A zesty combo of fiery jalapeños, sweet tomato, and our signature southwest spices | Classic taco sauce with spicy oommph!

Where are the taco sauces at Aldi located?

The location of the taco sauces have been varied. Some shoppers find the sauces in the condiments aisle next to Aldi ketchup or Indian Simmer Sauces. Other shoppers have found these taco sauces next to the tortillas and other Mexican inspired food. Another location you may want to check is by the tortilla chips and salsa.

How much are the street taco sauces at Aldi?

As of 3/29/2023, the taco sauces were $2.49 per bottle.
